Sarasota IV Doctors · who owns the SERP & how we beat them · updated 2026-06-14
Real recurring competitors pulled from live Google SERPs for the core Sarasota IV terms. The headline: this niche is won in the local pack (reviews + Google Business Profile), not organic — and there is a wide-open suburb geo-cluster (Lakewood Ranch, Venice) no incumbent has claimed.
| Competitor | Local pack | Reviews | Price shown |
|---|---|---|---|
| SHINE IV Drip Spa clinic + mobile, market leader | #1 both | 252 | — |
| Sarasota IV Lounge #1 organic head term | #2 | 223 | — |
| Prime IV Hydration national franchise — beatable benchmark | #3 | 57 | — |
| Sunshine's In-Home IV pure mobile | #3 mobile | 34 | — |
| Mobile lane (our real set): theivdoc.com (multi-page mobile IA — study it), mobileivmedics.com, vitalitywellnessandbeyond.com, eliteivhydration.com (ranks via a comparison blog). | |||
Incumbents are nurse-run / franchise. Our one durable moat: board-certified physician (Dr. Patel) supervising every infusion — under-leveraged today.

Do NOT chase at launch: "iv therapy near me" (135k, national, KD22) and "iv hydration near me" (KD40) — out of reach for a new domain. They come later via authority + GBP.
The page-build exploits are now shipped. What is left is two owner items (real pricing, MD sign-off) plus ongoing depth work. GBP is live and handled, so it is off this list.
The pricing page is live as honest "pricing on request" with Service + FAQPage schema, and now links to the new memberships page. Real "from $X" anchors would win the KD0 "iv therapy cost" query outright and give AI engines a citable figure.
Action [Greg]: send real prices, we publish same day on the cost, vitamin-shots, and membership pages.
NAD, Myers, and the 3 blogs are live and physician-bylined, plus 3 concierge pages (weight-loss, peptide, ketamine) that read as drafts but are indexed. None carry a documented "reviewed by Dr. Patel" stamp. Google's 2026 spam policy covers unreviewed AI-assisted medical content.
A sign-off request email listing all 8 URLs is drafted and ready to send to Dr. Patel (awaiting his confirmed address). Blog citations were already hardened to AGA + Endocrine Society guidelines on 2026-06-14 to support sign-off.
Every service page now carries unique condition-specific clinical content (red-flag / when-to-seek-care guidance, mechanism, Sarasota-local context), not a shared template. Remaining depth work is structural, captured in the IA blueprint below.
The IV Doc is the national operator in the mobile-IV space (about 40 US cities plus international, Sarasota among them). Its information architecture, not its content, is the model. Three moves to borrow, while keeping our depth-and-MD edge they lack.
Built and live: /services/hangover-recovery/, /services/urgent-care/, /services/wellness/. Each is a hub-and-spoke landing page grouping its treatments, with a "Browse by need" row on /services/ and entries in the nav. Adds mid-funnel category targets + tightens internal linking.
Live on /services/urgent-care/: positions physician-run mobile IV as genuine same-day urgent care for the acute cluster (food poisoning, dehydration, migraine, covid, sunburn), with an honest 911/ER boundary. Differentiator a nurse-only IV bar cannot claim.
They run Packages and Membership as distinct pages. We shipped both today (/membership/ + the cost page), so this gap is already closed.
Where we win: their per-city pages are thin and templated to scale across 40 markets. Our Sarasota-metro pages are deeper, physician-led, and locally specific. Copy their structure, not their breadth.
Keyword-bearing H1s on all 6 suburb pages ("Mobile IV therapy in Venice/Lakewood Ranch/Bradenton..."). Fixed stale treatment-card links across 6 area pages (NAD+ and Myers' cards were pointing at the old generic pages, now route to /services/nad-therapy/ + /services/myers-cocktail/). Venice cross-linked into Sarasota. New /services/vitamin-shots/ (B12, glutathione, IM menu) and /membership/ (packages + tiers) pages, both with schema and in the nav. Homepage KD0 phrases folded in. Sitemap 48 → 50 URLs.
/areas/venice/, /services/nad-therapy/, /services/myers-cocktail/ built and linked · cost page live (no-number) · blog→service funnel on all 8 blogs · 3 service pages given condition-specific clinical depth · citations hardened · per-page sitemap lastmod.
First position-tracking pull, Sarasota geo, desktop. The domain was only just indexed, so this is the floor we measure from.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Keywords ranking in top 100 | 2 of 13 |
| Average position (ranking terms) | 55.5 |
| "iv therapy sarasota" (vol 140) | #50 |
| "mobile iv therapy near me" (vol 20) | #61 |
| Suburb + service terms (lakewood ranch, venice, bradenton, nad, myers, cost...) | not yet in top 100 |
Every suburb and service term we tuned or built today is currently unranked, which is the opportunity: those are KD-low with no entrenched incumbent page. Tracking is weekly (project live, 13 keywords + 4 competitors), so movement from today's work shows up on the next pull, measured not guessed.
